Volunteers are required to work alongside experienced project workers at one of The Wallich projects, as well as to provide a client focused support service to The Wallich's residents.
Obligations
1. To work to further the stand aims and objectives of the organisation (in accordance with the operational policy)
2. To work within The Wallich Equal Opportunity Policy as all times.
3. To work within The Wallich operational procuedures
4. To be aware of issues of confidentiality and to work within The Wallich policy at all times.
5. To foster and preserve good professional relationships with other individuals and agencies.
6. Acquire knowledge and understanding of the Cycle of Change, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Brief Therapy and apply those techniques at work.
Duties
1. To work with residents on their individual needs in line with aims of the individual projects.
2. To ensure all necessry paperwork is completed correctly and on time.
3. To ensure premises are kept clean and tidy.
4. To book in new residents and explain The Wallich procuedures.
5. To liaise with other organisations in meetin client needs.
6. Acquire knowledge and understanding of the Cycle of Change, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Brief Therapy and apply those techniques at work.
