The RNIB is the nations charity helping the blind and partially sighted to lead a normal life.

The role involves:

·        Guiding blind and partially sighted participants around the venue, helping them to find seating and providing directions

·        Assisting participants into cars and taxis and, at times, meeting attendees at the railway station or accompanying them there

·        Registering attendees

·        Giving guide dogs walks while participants are in forum sessions

·        Assisting with providing lunch and refreshments - your tea-making skills: a definite bonus!

·        Possibly Handling the roving microphone in some sessions; note-taking in others

·        Anticipating and providing general assistance to participants, as needed.
