A key feature of the National Trust’s fundraising activity is the staging of an extensive programme of fundraising events. Following an broad marketing and promotion campaign, we are seeking a volunteer to provide assistance with a review programme to see the efficiency of our campaign.

There are two aspects to this volunteer role to assist with the planning, promotion and marketing of a series of the National Trusts fundraising events:

1) Face-2-face volunteers will collect data from visitors on how they heard about the event

2) Analysis volunteers, who will analyse the data collected.

Anticipated time contribution: Face-2-face volunteers: during opening hours (all week exc. Tuesday) Analysis Volunteers: min ½ day (Tuesday to Friday)

Volunteers are invited to contribute in one or more of the following key elements:

  1. Assist in the preparation of annual marketing survey
  2. Assist in collecting data from visitors in an unobtrusive manner
  3. Assist with the analysis of data collected
  4. Monitor newspapers for property coverage and maintain library of cuttings
  5. Prepare and distribute posters for events
  6. Contribute to the following year marketing plan design
  7. Undertaking such other appropriate survey assistance, as may be reasonably requested by the National Trust manager

Volunteer are required to work in compliance with the Trust's Health and Safety Policy at all times.
