To work with people with an addiction to drugs or alcohol and to reach them at whatever level their addiction. To reach younger people who through their environment are around drugs and alcohol. To provide drug and alcohol users with opportunities to break the cycle of offending & drug & alcohol misuse. To raise awareness about drugs and alcohol in the community through education. To provide support to families of people with addictions to drugs and alcohol.

Chooselife are looking for volunteers to fulfill the following roles:-

1. Support work in the day centre or family centre.;
2. Admin work;
3. Fundraising - Helping with Street collections, Distributing collection boxes
4. Driving the mini Bus.
5. Outreach work;
6. Cooking.

We are looking for volunteers with specifc skills to support with our Diversionary Activity Programme. These skills could include:

·         Netball coaching ·         Art & Crafts ·         Computers ·         Cookery lessons ·         Drama ·         Hairdressing for males and females ·         Beautician ·         Sewing ·         Counsellors with drug/alcohol experience ·         Anger management classes ·         Music tutor ·         Writing newsletters ·         Fundraising ·         Painter and decorator (to paint the centre) 

 Volunteers must be over 18
