Alzheimer’s Society - Memory Walk Event Volunteer 515~27
Alzheimer’s Society is a membership organisation which aims to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Through our network of local services, we touch the lives of over 30,000 people every week, providing support and services for people with dementia and their carers. All money raised from Memory Walk is used to support these services in the local area.

Alzheimers Society - Memory Walk Event Assistant 499~27
Alzheimers society are looking for volunteers to help with marketing, recruiting,and implementation of the sponsored memory walks.
Memory Walk is Alzheimer’s Society’s annual flagship fundraising event, with walks taking place throughout September across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The local one is on the Millennium Coastal Path. All money raised from Memory Walk is used to support services for people with dementia and their families in the area local to the walk and also raises awareness of dementia and the Society’s work in the community.

Amman Valley dementia Carers Support Group 395-27
We offer support advice & information to clients, carers of Debentia sufferers. We run a day club, monthly lunches for carers, plus outings and other social events. We are a new group which is community based. We are also lobbying for more respite and daycare facilities.
We run a respite home for clients with Dementia to relieve the stress of caring. We cover the whole of Carmarthenshire.
