As a leader of a section you would be responsible for:
All youth in your section, their awards and certificates
Your assistant Scouting Leaders
Your section assistants and helpers
Delivering a balanced programme of activities
Ensure the safe delivery of the programme
Encourage members to take part in residential events
Follow the Groups financial procedures
Operation in accordance with Scout Policy & rules
Complete adult training
Ensure accurate records are kept
There are four section which you may join:
Beavers - 6 - 8 yr boys and girls
Cubs - 8 - 10 1/2 yr boys and girls
Scouts - 10 1/2 - 14 yr boys and girls
Explorer Scouts - 14 - 18 yr boys and girls
Dysgu a Hyfforddi:
You will be providing training on specific courses (including Health and Safety, Inductions, Safeguarding) to staff and volunteers who would like to learn more about the topic on offer
