Help them change their world

YWCA is the leading charity working with the most disadvantaged young women in England and Wales.

Teenage pregnancy, binge drinking and discrimination are our life blood. If you can help us give girls a voice to influence the debate on these subjects, and want to make a real difference to disadvantaged young women then join our board of trustees.

We are looking to build on the strengths of our existing trustees and expand the skills base as we develop and grow the organisation. If you have experience in HR, legal, service delivery policy or commissioning in Wales, fundraising - particularly new local authority funding or youth work we would like to hear from you.

We welcome applications from men and women, people from diverse backgrounds and a wide range of sectors, private as well as public and voluntary.

The board meets five times a year mainly in central London. Travel expenses are paid.

For more information please write to Jobs, YWCA, 52 Cornmarket Street, Oxford, OX1 3EJ or email jobs@ywca.org.uk quoting reference 21/08.

For an informal chat phone Jane Gibbard on 01865 304209. Closing date: 12/06/08.

YWCA is a registered charity.
