Litter Pick and woodland fun day - Friday 16th FEBRUARY!!
North East Wales Wildlife are holding a community litter pick event at Broadoak woods and Llwyni Valley in the Connah’s Quay, followed by a fun woodland event in the afternoon in conjunction with Keep Wales Tidy. Visiting the site with the ranger we are constantly surprised at the amount of litter thrown over by people walking by.
The outcome of the day will be local people having fun but also becoming more familiar with their site, using it more regularly, and hopefully raising awareness to the ask the council for a bin near the entrance which may help to reduce some of the litter.
