The Peer Events Volunteers will be young people who will gain a wide variety of advocacy and training techniques by working alongside ASH Wales's staff at local, national and regional events and conferences throughout Wales. The attendance at these events for young people will allow for peer to peer dissemination of information.  Peer Events Volunteers will encourage young people to understand a range of factors around tobacco including economic, environmental, health, corporate responsibility, human rights and marketing.  The Peer Events Volunteers will be trained to work with young people in their local communities to provide informed and accurate information about smoking prevention and assistance with cessation.

The Peer Events Volunteers will be working closely with the ASH Wales team at a variety of locations throughout Wales to promote and market the work that ASH Wales does.  Volunteers will be expected to be hands on at events helping staff members to set up stalls / conferences and to distribute information as necessary.
