Alzheimer's Society is a membership organisation which aims to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Through our network of local services, we touch the lives of over 30,000 people every week, providing support and services for people withdementia and their carers. All money raised from Memory Walk is used to support these services in the local area.

Description of volunteering duties:

  • Attend regular fundraising group meetings and volunteer within the group terms of reference. Follow direction of Community Fundraiser. Provide administrative and practical support  to Community Fundraiser. Review budget and financial information. Raise the profile of Memory Walk and recruit walkers. Health and Safety, refreshments.
