To provide a range of activities for young people aged 8-25. To give alternatives to potential dangers of boredom - e.g. anti social behaviour, alcohol/drug misuse. We also offer advice, info, support and acredited training opportunities.

Description of volunteering duties:

  • Assisting staff in the provisions of service for young people, in accordance with the policies and procedures of KPC Youth.
  • To actively empower young people to take part in all that KPC Youth offers.
  • To work alongside staff in the supervision of members' activities and programmes.
  • To assist staff in meeting the needs of young poeple through planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • To develop positive relationships with young people to equip them to accept responsibility for their own decisions, empowering young people to become valued members of their community.
  • To attend supervision/ volunteer meetings.
  • To attend training courses as necessary.
  • To help and assist in ensuring the safety of the young people who attend and the safe running of the centre.
  • To actively prmotoe equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practices within KPC Youth.
