CRI works to create safer and healthier communities. We are a national provider of support, treatment and rehabilitation programmes for those whose lives are blighted by substance misuse, crime and lack of opportunity. We help people to break free from harmful patterns of behaviour by delivering innovative services which have a measurable impact on both health and community safety issues.

Following successful completion of both organisation and project induction:

  • Provide support to service users seeking to access treatment and support.
  • To offer guidance on drug and alcohol issues.
  • Work one-to-one to provide a level of practical support (health, housing, welfare, social etc).
  • Work alongside DIP workers when carrying out triage and comprehensive client assessments, develop individual support plans and work to empower service users to achieve support plan objectives.
  • Work with service users to establish non-judgemental supportive relationships.
  • Keep accurate records of work with service users and feedback any issues to the designator mentor.
  • Make referrals to appropriate agencies and develop links with a range of community support services.
  • Adhere to safe working practices via the effective use of risk assessments as directed by the project co-ordinator.
