The Terrence Higgins Trust is the leading HIV & sexual health charity & aims to: 1)Maximise sexual health in the UK & minimise the spread of HIV & STI's, by encouraging people to value their sexual health by leading innovation to increase access to local health services. 2)Empower people living with HIV in the UK to maximise their health & welbeing by working to ensure the best possible HIV treatment & support services. 3)Lead public & political support for HIV & sexual health issues & campaign to eradicate stigma & discrimination.

The Terrence Higgins Trust are looking for Transport Volunteers:

Volunteers to transport individuals affected by HIV who are attending appointments in a calm, kind and empathetic manner. They provide this transport in their own vehicles and mileage is reimbursed by THT.

The Types of Tasks / Activities you could be involved with:

-       Providing transport to clients to attend their appointment

-       Offering reassurance and comfort to clients who may be anxious or distressed

-       Driving safely and confidently

-       Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy

Volunteers must be over 18 with a full clean driving licence
