The European Commission has entrusted civil society organisations to run the competition to choose the official logo and slogan for the upcoming European Year of Volunteering 2011
Gyrru:
- To establish and build a befriending relationship
- To visit an identified person at a mutually convenient time and place to engage in activities appropriate to normal friendships (Deafblind UK will work to match you with an individual with similar interests or who would benefit from your life experiences)
- Where appropriate, to use your personal vehicle to transport deafblind people to these activities, whilst adhering to the role profile of a volunteer driver
