Walk the Walk Worldwide

Walk the Walk is a small but determined charity that has always been committed to not only raising funds for breast cancer research and cancer care, but is also passionate about encouraging women and men to become fitter and healthier and is so doing taking more responsibility for their own wellbeing as a vital part of prevention. Our motto is to raise money, raise awareness, get fit and have fun! Last year we raised over £9.5 m - our best yet!      This year's SunWalk in Bristol will take place on Sunday 5th July and starts from and finishes at Ashton Court.   The SunWalk is a daytime challenge for the whole family.  Up to 5,000 men, women and children will power walk 5K, 10K or a half marathon distance around Bristol wearing decorated bras, with the united aim of raising millions of pounds for vital breast cancer causes.  We set up a whole 'SunWalk Village' within the park, with music, entertainment, refreshments, stalls and lots more.

The ' SunWalkers' simply could not take on their challenge without volunteer support!  We are hoping to recruit up to 300 crew members to support walkers.  Volunteers are employed on many vital tasks from handing our food, water, space blankets, macs and those much prized medals, to marshalling and supporting on foot or on a bike, driving, to handling baggage, cleaning and lots more.  So we need lots of help ...  Join us in Aston Court, for a fun filled, musical fiesta!  We need many helping hands to keep those walkers on their feet and going in the right direction!   Volunteer registration is very easy – you can register online – another 'green' initiative which will save paper, postage, time and effort!   There you will also find a colourful volunteer advertisement flyer which describes what we are after and a volunteer registration form.
