Volunteer aged 25 + needed for the role of Chairperson for the Welsh Association of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Support (WAMES).

This is an exciting opportunity to steer the managing committee through a period of reorganisation, development and expansion, and oversee the work of a small group of dedicated volunteers. The work will be home-based with occasional meetings in South Wales. Ideal: knowledge of or empathy with ME or CFS, knowledge of Welsh language, experience of committee work or writing a business plan. Essential: experience of leading a team and IT competence. Commitment of 2 years desired. CRB check and references will be taken.
