Volunteers 16+ (individuals of groups of 3/4) are needed to set-up peer-education projects in their own school or youth centre, relating to the work of British Red Cross.
Volunteers 18+ are also needed to support and mentor the young people involved. The workshops would focus on humanitarian issues such as HIV & AIDs, Conflict, Disasters, First Aid and the work of the organsiation generally etc. Volunteers could create their own presentations or use British Red Cross set materials. Commitment would be roughly once a month. Training provided. References and police checks taken. Expenses paid.
