MDF the Bipolar Organisation is a user-led mental health charity which works to enable people affected by bipolar disorder (manic depression) to take control of their lives. We are looking for volunteers to: Visit Psychiatric hospitals in South and West Wales to talk to and give information to the people who have been diagnosed with Bi- Polar disorder. They will then give these peoples names to the link workers who will then support them in the community and introduce them to local support groups. The volunteer will themselves have been diagnosed with the Bi Polar Disorder.

• Supporting and developing self help opportunities for people affected by Bipolar disorder.
• Expanding and developing the information services about bi-polar disorder.
• Influencing the improvement of treatment and services to promote recovery.
• Decreasing the discrimination against and promoting the social inclusion and rights of people affected by bi-polar disorder.
